November Breaths

Dear Friends,
I walk out on my back patio and revel in the cool Autumn breezes. I sniff the air.

It's a mixture of wet mulchy leaves, a few traces of smoke -- maybe from a leftover Summer-minded BBQ, more likely from a few folks lighting their fireplaces to scare away the chilled breaths of Fall -- and there's the scent of fresh laundry as it is buffeted by the wind on my patio-side clothes-line.

Indoors my nose detects my favorite season's presence too. I pick up swirls of oatmeal; warm, sprinkled with brown sugar and drowned in creamy milk. Tiny tendrils of my favorite tea in my favorite mug. The warm and cozy fragrance of Walnut Pie and Pumpkin Spice candles.

Autumn means a lot to me.
It appeals to all my senses.
But I think my nose loves it best.

Love,
Breathing Freely in NE

Yes, I like AuntieM's thought there about you being an Autumn Baby....What a perfect time of year for so many reasons.

Thats a great shot of LB pottery and a yummy looking tea I need to try soon.
